Effects on the economy:-

According to economic times,
1. United Nations said that the global economy could shrink up to 1 percent in 2020 due to corona virus pandemic.
2.UN Department of economic and social affairs (DESA)said that the COVID-19 pandemic is disrupting global supply chains and international trade.
3. World Economic forecasting model has estimated the best and worst-case scenarios for global growth in 2020:
i)Best case scenario- with moderate declines in private consumption, investment and exports offsetting increases in government spending in G-7 countries and global growth would fall to 1.2 percent in 2020.
ii)In the worst-case scenario- the global output would contract by 0.9 percent instead of growing at the rate of 2.5 percent this year."Well, that's some serious effect on the economy, Isn't it?"
Now let's move on to its effect on countries worldwide.

Effects on Countries:-
1. Sports events that were to be held around the world like Tokyo, Olympics 2020, have been postponed by their respective organizations.
2. Countries having reputed health care facilities are also running out ventilators and doctors having no choice are forced to let some people die.

Precautions:-
  • Presume that you have COVID - 19 present on your body so frequently wash your hands, face, hair and exposed body parts.
  • Avoid outings and maintain a distance of about 1 meter from others.
  • Avoid touching nose, eyes, mouth and other openings of the body through which viruses can get in.
  • Put your Clothes immediately in the washing machine if you were outside earlier with those clothes.
  • Keep up to date information on the latest COVID-19 hotspots.

Positive Aspects:-
*Very few people are coming out of their houses which is responsible for the depletion of air, water, soil and noise pollution.
*Nature's getting some time to restore itself.
*People are now spending time with their loved ones.
*There's plenty of time available for reading books, watch movies, music, etc.
  "You can now learn new hobbies and skills. You can and you should learn new techniques related to your life goals which will take you one step closer to success."
COVID -19 ( affecting people's minds more than physical effect?!)
* People in this pandemic are much  affected by information overload of the virus.
*Health anxiety, sleep disturbances, panic
attacks, depression, and loneliness is becoming common during this pandemic.
Here are 5 common ways in which COVID - 19 is affecting people's mind:-
1.Fear of losing jobs due to isolation, limitation of free movement and social behavior, etc.
2.Insecurity for relative and for yourself 
3.Agoraphobia
4.Irresistible urge to store food, medical supplies, essentials, analgesics,anti-allergic medicines, sanitizers, face masks, etc.
5. In people who are the front line of COVID-19: fatigue, burnout, frustration, the guilt of Transmitting.

5 ways in which we can avoid this mental stress:-
1. Engage yourself in other activities, don't feed your mind constantly with the information of this kind.
2. Do meditation, yoga, workout, etc.(at Home)
3. Watch news only for 15 minutes at the end of the day,
just to update your information.
4. Feed your mind with good books, quotes, podcasts, etc.
5. Watch Movies, Comedy shows. Take care of your physical and mental health both and keep your immunity high.
